Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch aren’t the only writerly cast members on “Glee”: Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina Cohen-Chang on the FOX hit, is writing her own book. “Choosing Glee” will come out in spring of 2013.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ushkowitz’s book will be an autobiography of sorts, documenting her childhood on Long Island, where she was raised after being adopted as a baby, her Broadway debut in “The King and I” in 1996, her stint in “Spring Awakening” with “Glee” costar Lea Michele, and her time on “Glee.” It’ll also focus on her “motivational approach toward life.”
“My goal is for you to walk away from this book looking at the world differently than when you started. It’s about how to have, do and be anything you want,” she tells THR.
Wonder what juicy stories she’ll share about “Glee” — with a cast that big, you know some crazy stuff happens backstage. Will you add “Choosing Glee” to your 2013 reading list? (Because obviously you’ve started one already.)
