A stabbing spree, violent fights involving knives and broken bottles and one fatality (allegedly drug related) marred a concert headlined by electronic dance trio Swedish House Mafia in Dublin, Ireland, Saturday (July 7).
A 23-year-old man has been arrested for stabbing as many as four concertgoers, one of them critically, the BBC reports.
Others were injured by knives and broken bottles at the show, which also featured Snoop Dogg, Tinie Tempah and Calvin Harris. Local police arrested 30 other attendees on charges of assault, drugs and disorderly conduct.
A man who died from a suspected drug overdose at the concert has been identified by police, who report that he was a Dublin resident in his early 20s.
More than 45,000 people attended the gig, one of Swedish House Mafia’s final performances. The Swedish supergroup recently announced that they would not tour again after this summer.
