Ratings for baseball’s All-Star Game were relatively low for the second
straight year, but the contest still carried FOX to a win for the night.
“America’s Got Talent,” meanwhile, was up for NBC and beat the All-Star Game in total viewers at 9 o’clock (pending updates).

Elsewhere, ABC’s new improv comedy show “Trust Us With Your Life” got off to a modest start, but its docu-series “NY Med” did somewhat better.

FOX averaged 9.9 million viewers and a 6.3 rating/10 share in households in primetime; those numbers will likely rise some when they’re adjusted for the live broadcast. NBC (8.4 million, 5.1/8) came in second, a good bit ahead of CBS (6.5 million, 4.3/7). ABC finished fourth with 4.4 million viewers and a 2.7/5. The CW trailed with a little under 700,000 viewers and a 0.4/1.

FOX also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.9 rating, topping NBC’s 2.2. ABC took third with a 1.3, followed by CBS, 1.1, and The CW, 0.3.
