“Saturday Night Live” returns for its 38th season Saturday, Sept. 15 and has just announced the lineup for the hosts and musical guests of its first three episodes when it returns.
“Family Guy” fans will be pleased to hear Seth MacFarlane is hosting “SNL” for the first time in his long comedic career. He kicks off the season on Sept. 15, alongside musical guest Frank Ocean.
The second episode will feature Joseph Gordon-Levitt returning to studio 8H for the second time. We were fans of his first hosting gig, particularly his opening number “Make ‘Em Laugh,” so this should be a fun episode. The musical guest Sept. 22 is Mumford & Sons, making their “SNL” debut.
Finally, Sept. 29 will feature the debut of Daniel Craig, the second James Bond to host “SNL” (Pierce Brosnan hosted in 2001). Craig will be joined by musical guest Muse.
