Here is a bit of happy news for “The Finder” fans following Michael Clarke Duncan’s untimely passing: Series star Geoff Stults has signed a new deal with 20th Century Fox TV that will bring him to FOX’s new comedy “Ben and Kate” in a recurring role.
According to Deadline, Stults is developing a multi-camera comedy that he’d potentially star in, but in the meantime he will guest star as a love interest for single mom Kate. He’ll first appear in the Halloween episode on Oct. 30 as a fellow single parent.
“Geoff is a tall hunk of man who makes me laugh,” 20th Century Fox TV casting head Sharon Klein says. “He’s the ultimate ‘man’s man’ AND ‘ladies man.’ He’s a big TV star who proved he can anchor a show with his dry wit on ‘The Finder.'”
Hopefully Stults’ character will be a better guy than the man Kate dates in the show’s pilot, considering first dude seems like a real piece of work.
Are you happy to see Stults back on TV?
