One day job just isn’t enough for “Glee” star Lea Michele — the actress just announced via Twitter that she has started recording an album. Like, a non-“Glee” or Broadway soundtrack album. Obviously, this is most excellent news, but she’s left us hanging on the most important aspect: what kind of music will she sing?
“Just had a very exciting music meeting and am proud to announce that im officially on the road to making my first album! I’m so excited!” Michele announced on her Twitter.
No deets on the record company have been released yet, but a few minutes later Michele thanked her fans for their outpouring of support. “There’s so much to be thankful for right now. Feeling so blessed and thankful. And I couldn’t do it without all of you! Love you guys!”
We know Michele can sing Broadway tunes like a pro, but aside from the Barbra Streisand classics, some of her more fun moments on “Glee” have been different takes on pop ballads. Remember her stunning cover of Usher’s “Without You”? But just because she’s great at the heart-wrenching stuff doesn’t mean we wouldn’t want to hear a few dancey tunes too. We’d love a pop album from the triple-threat.
What kind of music do you want to hear Michele tackle on her debut album?
