Prince Harry has decided not to pursue his complaint with England’s Press Complaints Commission (PCC) against The Sun for reprinting nude pictures snapped during his August trip to Vegas.
“We remain of the opinion that a hotel room is a private space where its occupants would have a reasonable expectation of privacy,” a spokesperson from St. James’ Palace says (per Us Weekly). “Prince Harry is currently focused entirely on his deployment in Afghanistan, so to pursue a complaint relating to his private life would not be appropriate at this time and would prove to be a distraction.”
TMZ was the first to publish the photos of a naked Harry in a Vegas hotel room, but The Sun was the only British paper to go against the PCC advisory not to publish the pics.
It seems the royal family has bigger (naked) fish to fry these days anyway in the form of Kate Middleton’s topless (and now bottomless) paparazzi pics.
