Bobby Brown, R&B singer and ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston, has been arrested for Driving Under the Influence for the second time this year, TMZ reports Wednesday (Oct. 24). Law enforcement sources say Brown was pulled over for driving erratically on an L.A. street around 1 a.m. local time.
Brown reportedly smelled strongly of alcohol when law enforcement officials approached his vehicle and was asked to vacate his car, where he performed a field sobriety test and did not pass. He was then arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Back in March, Brown was arrested for DUI. He had previously been arrested in 1996 for drunk driving, plus in 2003, he was arrested for battery and in 2004 for a parole violation. Brown sought treatment for alcohol addiction back in August.
