Professional wrestling may be fake, but a lot of those moves are real and the wrestlers are quite muscled, which worked out well for the passengers in a Minneapolis-area train car last week.
Former WWE wrestler Shawn Daivari tells TMZ that last Thursday (Sept. 27), a passenger on a train bound for the Minneapolis airport started shouting racial slurs and threatening to kill his fellow train passengers.
Daivari says several riders were pushing the emergency call button, but nothing was happening, so he stepped in.
“I wasn’t going to wait any longer to see if a cop showed up,” says Daivari, adding that he threw the guy down, slapped on a “rear naked choke hold” and threw the guy out of the train at the next stop.
One train rider says Daivari choked the guy so hard that the unruly passenger peed his pants.
A rep for the Metro Transit Rail tells TMZ that “police responded after being alert by the train operator to a fight on board. The investigation is ongoing.”
The unruly rider may have been harmless, but he also might have been a threat. So — Shawn Daivari, hero!
