lindsay lohan jay leno 320 Lindsay Lohan explains bailing on Barbara Walters: 'It's all good'Lindsay Lohan caused quite a stir when she canceled a sit-down interview with Barbara Walters that was set to air Friday on “20/20.”

“I spent a lot of time doing a lot
of homework, watching the movie. Then her longtime press agent resigned.
That should’ve been a clue,” Walters said on “The View.” “The next thing we hear is my interview is canceled [because] Lindsay
doesn’t feel up to it. She has a lot of problems … I said, ‘Poor girl,
I hope when she feels like it she will do it with us.’ So today I pick
up the paper [and find out Lindsay] is sitting for an interview with Jay
Leno.”

To put it lightly, Walters wasn’t happy that Lindsay hadn’t been forthcoming. Rumor has it, she canceled the interview because she didn’t want to talk about her tumultuous personal life. Recently, Lindsay has been in trouble for lying to police after a car accident, and apparently lying to her father about her mother’s cocaine use. She’s also recently learned that she has a half-sister, and her probation may be revoked.

On Tuesday, Lindsay sat down with Jay Leno for the aforementioned interview, and he asked why she’d bailed on Walters.

“You know, it’s just the timing wasn’t right right now,” she said. “I love her, I’m a big fan of Barbara Walters, I met her when I was very young, and so, when it’s right, she knows she’ll be the first person I sit down with… it’s all good. I spoke to her people that she works with and everything.”
