Olympic gold medalist Oksana Baiul is suing her former agents for $1 million.
The figure skating world champion claims the William Morris Agency — now William Morris Endeavor — misrepresented contract agreements, which she signed without being able to read or write English.
The Associated Press reports the Ukrainian-born skater recently discovered she was owed hundreds of thousands of dollars in money that was uncollected or mismanaged since her 1994 Olympic win.
Baiul lives in Pennsylvania, but filed the suit in Los Angeles. The agency has declined to comment on the filing.
