Things are getting heated on “The Voice” now that there are no saves or steals left. It all comes down to the viewers, and on Tuesday night, the viewers eliminated Sylvia Yacoub from Team Christina and Bryan Keith from Team Adam. Team Cee Lo’s Trevin Hunte and Adam’s Amanda Brown were also in the bottom four, but they were ultimately saved.
On Monday night, Sylvia had some guidance from Ron Fair, who was a key player in getting Christina’s career started. After a taking a break from playing an instrument, Sylvia decided to play the piano as she sang “Girl On Fire” by Alicia Keys. All of the judges liked her performance, so the results of the vote were a bit surprising.
As for Bryan, he opted to sing “New York State of Mind” and played into NYC’s struggle following Hurricane Sandy for the performance. Blake commented on Bryan’s similarities to Michael Buble, but Bryan couldn’t connect with the audience quite the way Buble does.
These results leave Nicholas David,
and Amanda Brown as the Top 8 for Season 3. Watch the eliminated singers’ last performances below. Do you think Sylvia and Bryan deserved to be sent home?
