Kelly Osbourne is living proof that diet and exercise really can turn a person’s life around. The “Fashion Police” star has slimmed down to 112 pounds after having her weight criticized in the media, and she says she has grown to love the lifestyle changes she made to help that transformation happen.
“[Working out] is something I really enjoy doing. I never thought I’d be that kind of girl,” she tells In Touch. “I do up to half an hour of cardio, and I also do circuit training, yoga or Pilates — I mix it up.”
That’s not to say that Osbourne doesn’t allow herself to cheat a little. She admits that taking a break from her diet plays a key part to helping her stay slim, but she does try to keep the rest of her week as healthy as possible.
“I do cheat. I have one cheat day a week where I eat whatever the f**k I want. But I always stop eating when I’m full,” she says, adding about her healthier meals, “For breakfast, I will eat either cereal or a little omelet thingy made with egg whites, mushrooms and spinach. Lunch is usually a salad or a turkey burger. And then for dinner, I’ll have brown rice with vegetables and some kind of meat.”
Osbourne tells the mag, “I never thought I’d be a skinny girl.”
