Kristen Stewart has opted for a major change of pace now that she’s done with “The Twilight Saga.” The actress has taken her time deciding the next movie she’ll star in, and it turns out that she’s settled on the comedy caper “Focus” that stars Ben Affleck.
“I can confirm that rumor,” Stewart tells The Huffington Post about the movie. “It’s a comedy. I’m really excited about it. We start shooting in April.”
Though the movie follows Stewart as “an inexperienced con artist who hooks up with the more seasoned Affleck” according to Deadline, it turns out that the costars will have some hot and heavy scenes as well. Hollywood Life reports that there’s lots of “passionate” kissing between Stewart and Affleck’s characters and that there’s a scene where they’re in bed together after having sex. As this casting rumor has been circling for a while, Affleck previously praised Stewart on her acting abilities.
“I’m hesitant to get into casting stuff because I don’t know what’s finished or isn’t because people come in and out of things all the time, but [Kristen’s] terrific and hopefully it will work out,” Affleck recently told E! News.
