The org dedicated to getting teens involved in charity work has selected the 23-year-old “Red” chart-topper as their top pick, citing her selection as the youngest person ever to receive the Robert F. Kennedy Center’s Ripple of Hope Award, her work with young people battling cancer and the $4 million donation she made to the Country Hall of Fame Museum.
Miley Cyrus, Channing Tatum, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber followed Swift on the list. The Top 20 also includes athletes (LeBron James, Drew Brees), TV stars (Ian Somerhalder, Sofia Vergara) and even celebrity couples (Jay-Z and Beyonce, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone).
Maybe this unique honor will give Swift fresh inspiration for her next album.
Missing from the list: Rihanna, whose $1.75 million donation to a hospital in her native Barbados may have happened too late for proper consideration. Less surprising: Chris Brown didn’t make the list either.
