There is something truly fascinating about Kesha. Like many pop stars, her art extends from the music and into her entire life. MTV will soon give us a look at that life with a new docu-series, “Ke$ha: My Crazy, Beautiful Life.”
Premiering in April 2013, the series will follow the singer in both her professional and personal lives as she records a new album and embarks on a worldwide tour. The footage for “My Crazy Beautiful Life” was shot over a two-year period by Lagan Sebert, the singer’s brother. The length of time will show the ways in which fame causes emotional and physical changes.
“You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that’s only part of the story,” Ke$ha said of the series. “With this documentary series I’m revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It’s not all glamorous but it’s all real. I want you to come on a whirlwind journey with an all-access pass to My Crazy Beautiful Life.”
Since this project looks to be more of an in-depth work than a pop bio, there could indeed be some surprises, even for the biggest fans of Ke$ha. We will just have to wait and see what actually makes up the singer’s crazy, beautiful life.
