Cranston called police in Albuquerque, N.M., where the show films, on March 1 to report that someone had broken into his car and stolen several items, including an iPad and a script from the AMC series. Cranston and his castmates are filming the show’s final episodes, which are set to air in the summer.

A report from Albuquerque’s KOAT-TV says a man named Xavier McAfee was arrested over the weekend and charged with the theft, although the script hasn’t been recovered. The station says an informant contacted Cranston’s assistant after overhearing a man talking about having stolen a “Breaking Bad” script.

McAfee was released on bond after a court hearing Monday (March 25) and told KOAT he’s innocent of the charges.
