Actor Clint Eastwood had an important role to play over the past weekend — father of the bride.
Eastwood’s daughter Alison Eastwood married sculptor Stacy Poitras in a small gathering of family and a few friends in California. The wedding was Friday (March 15) at the Saddlepeak Lodge in Calabasas.
“We are thrilled to be surrounded by our family for this very special day and appreciate their love and support as we begin our marriage life together,” the couple tells People.
Eastwood and Poitras, of CMT’s “Chainsaw Gang,” which is a show about a group of artists who sculpt using chainsaws, met five years ago when she rode a horse into his studio. The two began dating and two years later he proposed.
For the wedding, the bride wore a 1930s-inspired gown by Les Habitudes. The rings were designed by Philip Press.
