This week’s episode might be a big one on “Glee.” After all, the previous installment of the show left us with some major cliffhangers — Where is Emma? Is Rachel pregnant? — that will come back in “Girls (and Boys) on Film.” Videos and spoilers from the episode give us a bit of a preview.
First up is a video of Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma (Jayma Mays) singing “You’re All the World to Me” (from “Royal Wedding”). They go full-on Hollywood musical for this one, complete with the dancing on the walls and ceiling maneuver. Can you see it when the room spins?
The second video is a retrospective in commemoration of the 500th musical performance (“Shout”) in this episode. That’s a lot of songs sung over the course of “Glee.” And it’s scary to think that the whole progression to this started with “Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat.”
They’ve come a long way since then. Also, it is apparently very difficult to sing and dance in the rain.
There is, of course, far more than just music in “Girls (and Boys) on Film.” What is coming up for Rachel (Lea Michele) and her pregnancy scare? According to an interview published in The Hollywood Reporter, further developments come quickly in this story.
Michele confirms that this episode will address whether or not Rachel really is pregnant, although there isn’t much movement on breaking the news to Finn (Cory Monteith), the possible father. Instead, the first person to find out what’s up is Santana (Naya Rivera). It seems that the outspoken new roommate is going to find that pregnancy test.
What else can we expect? Alas, that will have to wait until “Glee” airs at 9:30pm (note the special time!) on Thursday, March 7 on FOX.
