If buying makeup from the Kardashians is something you want to do, now’s the time to do it. The sisters’ have been hit with an injunction against their Khroma line of cosmetics, WWD reports. The injunction is part of a trademark infringement lawsuit filed against the sisters’ Khroma line of cosmetics. The suit was filed in December by Florida-based Kroma Makeup.
The injunction stops Boldface, the company behind the line, from shipping any new products to stores until it’s lifted. According to New York Magazine, it couldn’t have come at a worse time. The Khroma line up makeup is currently scheduled to start appearing in many new stores, including CVS and Sears, later in March.
With no new product being shipped out, it’s a bad thing for the Kardashians, who are payed a royalty for every item sold. While the sisters received a $1 million advance for their involvement, royalties for the makeup was estimated between $4.7 and $5.2 million per year.
