Actress Lindsay Lohan is due in court Monday, March 18, where the judge is set to rule on her lying-to-the-cops case, which in turn could violate her probation on her jewelry heist case.
If the judge finds Lohan guilty of lying to the cops, that would mean she has violated the terms of her previous probation by breaking the law, and therefore the Los Angeles City Attorney could then ask for Lohan’s jail time.
TMZ reports that the L.A. City Attorney is indeed on hand, awaiting the verdict. But who is not on hand yet? Lohan herself.
Reportedly, Lohan had to hop a private jet from New York City in order to make it to her trial. It is scheduled to land at just after 8 a.m. local time in Van Nuys, giving her a very small window to get to her 8:30 court time, in the middle of morning rush hour.
TMZ also reports that Mr. Pink energy drink is ponying up the funds behind Lilo’s private jet, which costs roughly $50,000.
One way or another, though, Lohan will have to appear in court today and could face up to several months in jail, if the L.A. City Attorney asks for the maximum sentence on the probation violation.
