Carrie Underwood could’ve ditched the stilettos in favor of some comfy sneakers for her performance at Sunday’s 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. The fog machine on stage was working overtime, and we couldn’t see anything below her ankles anyway!
Underwood’s latest album, “Blown Away,” has explored some darker themes, and her most recent single “Two Black Cadillacs” is no exception. The song is about a man’s wife and his mistress conspiring to kill him after they discover he’s been two-timing them.
Underwood went all-out for the performance, wearing her funeral best. She even parked two black cars on stage, and simulated a dark, hellish lightning storm!
Underwood was nominated for Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year at the show.
