Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have come up with a relationship that works for them, and it doesn’t necessarily involve marriage. The parents of Mason, 3, and Penelope, 8 months, have said time and again that they won’t be tying the knot any time soon, and Disick reinforced that sentiment during a recent interview.
“I think if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. You know what I mean?” he tells Ryan Seacrest, via Us Weekly. “I would say we’re decently happy. I feel like I used to want to get married more than she did, and then, being that she was always so not interested, I’ve decided not to be.”
Either Disick is being passive aggressive with that comment (not a stretch, knowing his track record), or he and Kardashian finally have come to terms with their more modern arrangement. Considering April 18 is his longtime partner’s birthday, today would be a nice day for him to have a more positive outlook on his relationship with Kardashian.
Of course, Kourtney’s younger sister Kim Kardashian still thinks she’s got some things to worry about. During a recent episode of “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami,” Kim reprimanded Kourtney for not spending enough time alone with the father of her children.
“Just hearing Kim say those words really just freaks me out,” Kourtney said during a confessional. “Not that Scott would ever cheat on me, but I just really don’t want this for my relationship.”
