Kris Humphries is in some hot water for missing his mandatory settlement conference with Kim Kardashian over their upcoming divorce trial. Following the hearing that he missed, it was revealed that another hearing over whether or not to sanction Humphries for today’s missed meeting has been set for April 19. The sanction could result in Humphries being fined, TMZ reports.
Fortunately for Kardashian, this incident won’t affect their divorce trial date of May 6. Humphries’ attorney confirmed to reporters that his client’s absence won’t change when that trial will occur, E! News reports. A motion-to-compel hearing related to the discovery process has also been set and will take place on May 2.
Though Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, 2011, Humphries has been dragging out their separation because he feels he deserves an annulment. He is looking for Kardashian to admit that their marriage was fraud, and is demanding a $7 million settlement from the E! reality star.
