TLC is bringing back their popular “Long Island Medium” series this summer, kicking off the psychic reality show’s fourth season with two hours of programming on Sunday, May 12 at 8 p.m. EST. First, TLC will air a one-hour “On The Road” special, followed by two new half-hour episodes.
The series follows psychic medium Theresa Caputo as she speaks with the dead, whether at scheduled readings, while doing errands in her small town on Long Island, or navigating her family life with her husband and two grown children.
Of the “On The Road” special, TLC says, “This time around, Theresa heads south to Florida where she surprises three unsuspecting fans with readings: a mother who hears from her daughter that died tragically, a son who is hoping to connect with his father, and a woman who desperately needs to know if her husband is still with her. Never expecting Theresa to show up in the sunshine state, these people will receive messages that will change their lives forever.”
At 9 p.m., Season 4 will debut with an episode about Theresa’s daughter, Victoria, returning from college for a visit (with some “shocking” new changes), followed by an episode in which Theresa decides it’s time to lose some weight.
This season, fans can expect emotional readings with a little boy who lose his younger sister, a woman whose husband drowned, and a group reading where Theresa shocks everyone with her knowledge. Meanwhile, at the Caputo household, Theresa gets her bathroom redone, her son Larry Jr. hosts poker night, and the family dog goes missing. We’ll also see Theresa volunteer to help with Hurricane Sandy relief.
