“Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans has been arrested so many times we can’t even count the incidents anymore — but we can add one more mug shot to her impressive stack. On Tuesday, the reality show star was arrested in North Carolina.
She was charged with possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell, or distribute (meaning, she had enough on her that police believed it wasn’t just for personal use), simple assault, and simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance. She was also served with an arrest warrant for failing to pay child support. Evans’ son, Jace, is in the custody of her mother, Barbara.
The news was first reported by TMZ. They reveal that police arrived at Evans’ home to investigate a confrontation with her husband, Courtland Rogers — allegedly, Evans hit him with a piece of furniture during a domestic dispute. Evans was found in possession of 12 bindles of heroin, as well as drug paraphernalia, and illegally obtained Percocet (a prescription painkiller).
In this week’s episode of “Teen Mom 2,” Evans and her boyfriend, Keiffer, were seen strung out and fiending for more drugs. “Is everyone happy now?” Evans tweeted after the episode aired. “Are u guys happy to see the lowest point in my life and call me all these names? Thanks. Bye.”
