Amanda Bynes had her day in court Thursday (May 9), at least she sort of did. Bynes pled no contest to charges of driving on a suspended license, after she was pulled over in Los Angeles in September, TMZ reports.
Bynes wasn’t in court to enter her plea, leaving that job to her lawyer Richard Hutton. In exchange for the plea, Bynes will serve three years probation and pay a $300 dollar fine. She is still facing a DUI charge from April 2012, which she pled not guilty to.
It’s been a rare moment of silence from Bynes, who last tweeted May 5, taking another magazine to task. Since then she has simply retweeted a few messages of support from her followers. She’s made quite a name for herself in the Twitter world for lashing out at media outlets and celebrities, along with posting many pictures of herself, some practically naked. Things got to the point that publicist Jonathan Jaxson, who calls himself her friend, summoned the cops to Bynes’ home after talking to her May 2. Of course, he did it via Twitter, writing, “She is soooo messed up on drugs and please @NY_POLICE find her and help her!
