Amanda Bynes is building quite an army of people she doesn’t like on Twitter. In between retweeting truly disturbing messages of support from some of her followers, Bynes is taking aim at some who have had choice words for her.
First, the world tripped over itself when Courtney Love (Yes, that Courtney Love) tweeted the actress Monday (May 28), writing “Pull it together babe.” It’s been said before, but can never be said enough. When Love is telling you to get your act together, there must really be something wrong.
Of course, Amanda isn’t hearing any of that. She sent out a tweet of her own, reading, “Courtney Love is the ugliest woman I’ve ever seen.” She also wrote, “To be mentioned by her at all makes me and all my friends laugh!” Naturally all of those tweets have since been deleted.
However, Love send out one more to her followers, reading, “Will you people lay off on giving this girl such grief? Shes a beautiful talented young woman, we all go through our ups and downs. grow up!” If anyone knows about ups and downs …
Then there’s model Chrissy Teigen. Teigen took a different approach than others. She didn’t address Bynes, but was rather upset by the enablers that tweet their undying support for her.
“The fact that Amanda Bynes has any ‘support’ to retweet is really unsettling,” she writes adding, “Support people with mental illness, yes. But don’t condone/enable scary and poor behavior.” From there, Teigen got back to normal Twitter fun, talking about Honeybaked Ham.
Naturally, Amanda caught wind of the tweets though, and went on a rant. Because that’s how she uses Twitter. Amanda writes, “Ur not a pretty model compared to me. I signed to Ford models @ age 13. I don’t look up to u beauty wise. I’m far prettier than u! I’m offended that you’re saying I have a mental illness when I show no sign of it, but thankfully not one man that wants me wants you and you are an old ugly model compared to me! You look 45! You’re not pretty so I’m not intimidated by you! I think you’re jealous that you’re just an ugly model whos career is uninspiring! I don’t respect you! You’re no beauty queen! I’m a beauty queen!”
It should be noted that Bynes and Teigen are 27 years old.
Teigen didn’t reply to Amanda’s tweet, or the several she reposted from her band of merry enablers. Instead, Teigen asked her followers to just detach from the situation entirely, saying, “It’s not funny, it’s sad.” Then she talked about ham some more.
If Amanda follows through on her threat to become a rapper, this is going to lead to one of the most surreal diss tracks of all time.
