In addition to announcing its 2013-14 schedule on Monday (May 13), FOX has made one key programming decision for later in the season.
The network says it will air an episode of its comedy “New Girl” after Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2, 2014. One of FOX’s new comedies will also air on Super Bowl night, though which one has yet to be determined.
The network is launching three new comedies in the fall. “Dads” stars Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi and is executive produced by Seth MacFarlane. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is set at a police precinct and stars Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher. “Enlisted,” about three brothers stationed at the same Army base, features Geoff Stults, Parker Young and Chris Lowell.
Two more new comedies — “Us & Them” with Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel and “Surviving Jack” with Christopher Meloni — are also on deck for midseason, along with a new animated series called “Murder Police.”
