Giuliana Rancic, star of “Giuliana & Bill” and upcoming three-time host of the Miss USA pageant, has been a mom to baby Duke for just under a year and she tells Access Hollywood that she and husband Bill Rancic are definitely open to having more kids.
The TV host and her husband famously struggled with infertility and her bout with breast cancer, finally having baby Duke via a gestational surrogate in August 2012. But that hasn’t deterred the couple from having more children.
“We’re definitely thinking about it. We’d love another child. So, we’ll
see,” says Rancic. “Any time we have a rough time with Duke, he’s like,
‘What do you think about just one?’ I’m like, ‘Bill, I’m Italian, I need
a big family. I mean, there’s nothing more beautiful. I think [you
should] have as many kids as you can handle.”
Rancic adds that Bill could not be a better father to their baby son.
“Bill is an incredible father — so loving,” says Rancic. “There are
times where I definitely think Bill is a better parent. If I’m at work,
Bill will step in and he’s just a great dad. Instead of sitting the kid
in front of cartoons, he takes him out and tries to engage with him and
do whatever he can with him.”
“He just wants to be as involved as
possible with the baby. And there are some nights I’ll
say, ‘Let’s go out to dinner with friends tonight.’ And he’ll go, ‘No,
let’s stay in with the baby.’ So its little things like that,” she adds.
