A majority of the intern class this past season on “Grey’s Anatomy” will be retuning as series regulars when Season 10 premieres this fall.
Camilla Luddington, Gaius Charles, Jerrika Hinton and Tessa Ferrer, who play Jo, Shane, Stephanie and Lea, respectively, have all been promoted from recurring status to series regulars, TV Line reports. Tina Majorino, who plays Heather, will keep her recurring status, as she’s committed as a series regular on TNT’s upcoming drama “Legends.”
In December, ABC added series regular options to each of their contracts, which signaled that a move like this was possible, but didn’t promise anything.
It’s still unclear whether Hilarie Burton (“One Tree Hill”) will return at Lauren, who was last seen helping Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) ruin her marriage. The door was left open for a reprisal of the character when Lauren told Arizona that she hoped their interaction wouldn’t be a one-time deal.
Are you glad that the four interns will be around full-time next season, “Grey’s” fans?
