Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli aren’t going the traditional Hollywood divorce route. Instead of following the Moore-Kutchers and Kardashian-Humphries’ of the world, the couple of 11 years finalized their split by agreeing to share custody of their three daughters and declining the option of spousal support.
TMZ reports that Facinelli and Garth have put together a joint bank account “for the care and education of their children,” with each party depositing equal amounts of money into the account. Additionally, both Garth and Facinelli will have full access to the money.
As for custody, Garth and Facinelli went a very unconventional route and decided they don’t need a formal custody agreement. Instead, they’ve just agreed to share their daughter’s in a 50/50 arrangement. “Garth and Facinelli still totally trust each other — especially in the money department,” TMZ writes.
Garth and Facinelli are parents to Luca Bella, 15, Lola Ray, 10 and Fiona Eve, 6. The pair filed for divorce in 2012. In a joint statement at the time, the couple said, “While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together.”
