Paris Jackson‘s first film role is not in jeopardy, despite the fact she is currently hospitalized following an apparent suicide attempt.
The 15-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson signed on to make her movie debut in “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,” and a production source tells TMZ the show will not go on without the troubled teen.
“There’s a policy that we will have to buy now that we would not have had to buy prior to the incident,” the source says of the project’s insurance premium. “We’re prepared to pay a large amount of money for the policy.”
The production is reportedly six months out from needing Paris to report to set and producers feel she will be fully recovered by that time.
Paris was rushed to the hospital in ambulance Wednesday (June 5) after reportedly cutting her wrist with a meat cleaver. She was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold, and later transferred to Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. Following reports of the suicide attempt, a Los Angeles judge ordered an investigation into Paris’ well-being under the guardianship of her grandmother, Katherine Jackson. The results of that investigation are still pending.
