Tamara Ecclestone, 28, a British socialite and model, married Jay Rutland, 31, a former banker, this week in France — reportedly dropping over $18 million on the several-days-long affair.
The ANI reports that Ecclestone’s father Bernie, who is worth nearly $4 billion, spent over $1 million to book all 73 rooms at the Grand Hotel in St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (pictured below) and roughly $3.5 million for the entertainment, including a performance by Elton John. Also rumored to have performed are Lionel Richie, Calvin Harris and Mark Ronson.
Celebrity attendees include Jason Statham, Paris Hilton, Sean Connery, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, daughters of Prince Andrew and granddaughters of Queen Elizabeth.
Ecclestone and Rutland met in January and were engaged a month later. This is the first marriage for them both. You can see pictures of the after party at the Daily Mail.
