After much shenanigans on the results show, “America’s Got Talent” got down to some results.
The first trio brought forward was Aaralyn & Izzy, Alexanderia the Great and Kevin Downey Jr. and none of them advance, which is appropriate. They were not the strongest acts last night.
The next trio is Special Head, Fresh Faces and Hype. The only one of these we would advance is Hype, but even then, they’d be taking a spot away from one of the strongest four acts. It ends up being … none of them, again. Wow. That’s appropriate, again, but surprising that this is the way they are doing the results.
Then there’s a trio where two go through — the Kristef Brothers and Collins Key, leaving Tell a Vision to go home. So far, I’m two for two.
The final two spots are between Branden James, Anna Christine and American Hitmen. I predicted Branden and Anna advance, so we’ll see. The first act to advance is Branden, leaving the judges to choose between Anna and the Hitmen. Heidi choose Anna, then Mel B. and Howie choose American Hitmen, and Howard picks Anna, so we have a tie.
The tiebreaker is who received the most votes (who is in fourth place) and that act is Anna Christine.
So there you have it, “AGT” fans — are you happy with the results?
