“Big Brother 15’s” batch of houseguests contains a couple real winners this year, like Aaryn Gries, who has been heard on the live feeds making racist and homophobic slurs against her fellow houseguests, including saying of Helen, an Asian married mother of two, to “shut up and go make some rice” and of Candice, an African-American houseguest, that you should “be careful what you say in the dark, might not be able to see that b****.”
Aaryn is hardly the only (or the worst) person in the house to be making these comments, but she’s the first to feel some official backlash — which she won’t even know about until she’s off the show.
Zephyr Talent in Austin, Texas has decided to drop Aaryn from its agency.

In a statement, the agency says, “Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and
other beliefs that we (Zephyr Talent) do not condone. We certainly find
the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive.
Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by Aaryn, either
on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are hers alone
and do not represent the views or opinions of Zephyr Talent. Upon much
consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with

UPDATE: A Change.org petition has been set up to get Aaryn off the show, writing, “CBS Television Network and the production of Big Brother

However, Aaryn is hardly the only culprit in the ugliness in the “BB” house, so if CBS were to expel everyone who has made off-color remarks, half the house would be gone, including Spencer, Jeremy, GinaMarie and Kaitlin.
So far, the petition has just over 3500 signatures.
