Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are no strangers to San Diego Comic-Con, but this year they’ll be bringing the project they’re hyping straight to the fans. The duo is hosting a screening of their new film “Escape Plan” at the Reading Cinemas Gaslamp 15 on July 18.
Fans can get tickets to the screening in a variety of ways: Summit Entertainment will have online giveaways, passes will be gifted at the Summit booth in the San Diego Convention Center and a giveaway will be held outside the screening on the night of the event. “Escape Plan” isn’t due in theaters until Oct. 18, so this is a big treat for those looking to see what Stallone and Schwarzenegger’s next adventure is like.
This isn’t the only way a studio or network will be catering to fans this year. NBC and Universal Television will be giving away free fold-out cardboard chairs for Comic-Con attendees who will spend hours upon hours waiting to get into some of the hottest panels. And there you were thinking shwag bags were the best thing a network could give to attendees! The chairs can be picked up at NBC’s set up at the Tin Fish restaurant in San Diego’s Gaslamp District.
