Broward County court records show Culpepper surrended a nearly 10,000-square foot home in April to SunTrust Bank to settle a lawsuit they had against him.

The bank had brought a lawsuit against Culpepper for his failure to pay on his loan, citing $3 million in debt. Culpepper bought the house when he was signed by the Miami Dolphins in 2006. He paid $3.6 million for it at the time.

Culpepper, who was best known for leading the Minnesota Vikings for six seasons, last played football for the United Football League as a member of the Sacramento Mountain Lions.
