There is about nothing more uncomfortable for a very pregnant woman than high temperatures. So Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has hot-footed it out of Kensington Palace (her London residence with Prince William, where temps are nearing 90 degrees) in favor of her parents’ house in Bucklebury, Berkshire for some rest, according to reports.
“It was just too warm in Nott Cott,” a source tells US Weekly, referring to the Nottingham Cottage residence, which does not have air conditioning. “She decided to spend the weekend with mum and dad. Much more comfortable.”
The insider adds that “protection officers are visible from the street” outside the Middleton household.
Meanwhile, Prince William is having some fun of his own before the baby comes. He and his younger brother Harry are raising money for charity by participating in the Cirencester Polo Club’s annual Jerudong Trophy competition.
The Royal baby should be coming any day now. Some reports have Kate’s due date as July 11, which has obviously come and gone.
