Former MTV VJ Kennedy (real name Lisa Kennedy Montgomery) has released a memoir, titled “The Kennedy Chronicles,” wherein she writes about everything at the music video channel from the top artists of the day to random celebrity encounters — including one with NBA legend Michael Jordan.
In the book, according to TMZ, Kennedy was out to dinner with Jordan and Russell Simmons when Jordan busted out some dice and wanted to “play for something,” saying that if he won, Kennedy had to come back to his hotel room with him.
Kennedy writes that she was a virgin at the time and kind of freaked out, so she asked for Knicks tickets instead, which is when Jordan reminded her that he was married and offered her Nets tickets.
“Sure, he’ll filet my vag like a sea bass if he won at dice on a men’s room floor … but as soon as I want basketball tickets he’s a Promise Keeper? Whatevs,” writes Kennedy, but adds that she won at the dice game anyway.
The Jordan chapter in the book is titled, “MJ and the VJ,” with other chapter titles like “Head Like a Butthole,” “‘It’s Not Working, They’re All F***ing'”, “Sit and Spin, Doctors” and “Get the Puck Out of Here.”
The chapter subtitles also make it clear she writes about a lot of big names from the MTV scene in the 1990s, including Andy Schuon, Richard Patrick, Henry Rollins, Lauren Levine, Johnny Rzeznik, Pat Smear, Billy Corgan, John Sencio, Dave Navarro and Matt Cameron.
Sounds like an interesting book.
