Robin Thicke, the man behind the biggest (and most controversial) hit of the summer so far, has chosen the Virgin Mobile FreeFest as the only music festival he’s going to play this summer. The “Blurred Lines” singer is one of the top acts coming to the benefit concert that helps raise money for youth homeless shelters.
Other acts joining Thicke include MGMT, Vampire Weekend, Kaskade, Pretty Lights, the Avett Brothers, The Knocks, City and Colour, Black Joe Lewis, Icona Pop, Chvrches, Skye Ferreira, Washed Out, Little Green Cars, TJR, Ghost Beach, Madeon, Manufactured Superstars, Congorock and Gareth Emery.
Admission is free for the festival (hence the name), but you still need a ticket to get in. And they organizers ask for donations for their homeless shelters, having raised nearly $800,000 over the last couple summers.
