Looks like another “Happy Endings” alum is moving on to another sitcom just in time for the new TV season. Adam Pally has just been cast for a multi-episode arc on “The Mindy Project”, TVLine reports.
Pally, who played Max on the critically-loved yet canceled ABC sitcom, will play a new doctor at the OB/GYN practice where Mindy Kaling’s character works.
Not the first “Happy Endings” alum to find a new home on Fox, Pally’s casting comes after Damon Wayans Jr. inked a deal to reprise his role as Coach on “New Girl” for its upcoming third season.
Despite our lingering disappointment in the “Happy Endings” cancelation, we’re glad that we’ll still get to see Pally on our TV’s come this fall. How do you think Pally’s doctor will get along with Mindy? Hit the comments with your predictions.
“The Mindy Project” Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
