Celine Dion‘s coming back to life.
The vocal powerhouse, who’s spent the past few years focused on her Las Vegas residency, rather than recording new material, is putting the finishing touches on a new studio album, her first in English since 2007’s “Taking Chances.” On Thursday (Aug. 29), Dion released a teaser of the album’s first single, “Love Me Back to Life.”
In the brief clip, Dion is seen working her magic in the recording studio, belting out the midtempo number, written by Sia. The new track will be available for purchase Tuesday (Sept. 3).
The album, also titled “Loved Me Back to Life,” will be released Nov. 5. Dion tells Billboard that fans can expect a deeper, grainier tone in her new music. “It’s my bedroom voice,” she says.
