When fans meet their favorite celebrities, they ask for all kinds of things; handshakes, hugs, photos, autographs. Something that most of them probably aren’t asked for is a punch in the face. Of course, Chloe Grace Moretz is best known as Hit-Girl in “Kick-Ass,” so what else could you possibly ask her for?
The 16-year-old actress was 11 when she first took on the role of the vulgar vigilante and she’s very thankful for her fans, even if they have odd requests. “I’ve got an amazing fan group from it, and they’re really loyal. They freak out. They say, ‘Can you hit me or something?'” she tells Den of Geek. “That’s what someone said. ‘Can you punch me in the face?’ And I’m like, ‘What? No’.”
If you do happen to meet Chloe, don’t expect her to throw out any of that signature Hit-Girl vulgarity either. “I don’t cuss in my own time. It’s not a thing that I do,” she says, “I was talking to my brother about it, and I said that it’s affecting me so much more now than when I was younger. Now it’s like, ugh, getting into my head as a normal thing to do. But my mom, she’s not cool with that!”
“Kick-Ass 2” will be in theaters August 16.
