leah remini scientology tell all memoir Leah Remini's missing persons report about Shelly Miscavige 'unfounded', says cops

Hours after it was revealed that actress Leah Remini had filed a missing persons report for Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige, the Los Angeles Police Department has closed the case, TMZ reports.
A police spokesman says the missing persons report was ruled as “unfounded,” after officers met with Shelly, face-to-face. It was reported that Remini, a former Scientologist, was subjected to “thought modification” when she asked David about Shelly, who had reportedly not been seen in public for six years.
Leah left the church in early July, later saying, “No one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to.” Remini has since revealed she will be writing a tell-all memoir about her life’s experiences, including her time with the church.
