After 50 years, the March on Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech still resonate around the world. In celebration of this important day in civil rights history, President Barack Obama is joined by former President Bill Clinton, dignitaries and celebrities to commemorate the events in Washington, D.C.
The anniversary celebration kicks off at 11 a.m. ET at the Lincoln memorial, featuring remarks from several in attendance and a bell ringing ceremony.
