According to the LA Times, the man behind Deputy U.S. Marshall Raylan Givens will play Graham Logan, “a wild, professional skateboarder.” Graham and Dr. Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) meet when the aging thrill seeker nearly runs over Mindy in Union Square.
Then he asks her out on a date. How could Mindy possibly say no to that? It is, after all, one of the classic romantic-comedy “meet cutes.”
Olyphant isn’t the only high-profile guest star set to invade the world of “The Mindy Project.” James Franco, Chloe Sevigny, Adam Pally, Bill Hader, Glenn Howerton, Anders Holm and Kris Humphries (really) are also scheduled to appear in the sitcom’s second season.
“The Mindy Project” returns on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9:30 p.m.
