As fans of “The Voice” impatiently await the September premiere of Season 5, NBC has been slowly teasing which musicians will be involved as team advisors this fall. On Monday (Aug. 26), the network revealed that OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder has come aboard.
Initially reported by E! News, Tedder has been tapped to help out coach Adam Levine and his team during Season 5’s Battle Rounds. In past seasons, Team Adam has been mentored by Alanis Morissette, Robin Thicke, Mary J. Blige and Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum.
Season 5 of “The Voice” premieres Monday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, with the Battle Rounds set to air on Oct. 14 and 15.
