Ratings for “Big Brother” were up across the board Sunday vs. a week ago, helping CBS capture the total-viewer crown for the night on the broadcast networks. An NFL preseason game scored the night’s top 18-49 rating for NBC. FOX also got a bit of a bump from an afternoon NFL game that bled into primetime.

CBS averaged 6.7 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/7 share in households in primetime. NBC (6 million, 3.8/6) came in second, pending updates for its live NFL telecast. ABC took third with 3.9 million viewers and a 2.5/4, and FOX (3 million, 1.8/3) trailed.

NBC led the 18-49 demographic with a 1.9 rating, half a point better than CBS’ 1.4. FOX posted a 1.2 in the demo and ABC a 0.8.
