Tameka Foster presented her case as to why she believes she should gain primary custody of her two sons with Usher, but the judge dismissed her request.
TMZ reports that Usher’s lawyer argued that Foster is guilty of an “abuse of process” by using Usher Raymond V‘s recent pool accident as a way to garner sympathy. It seems as though the judge on the case agreed, because Foster was denied getting primary custody.
This is just the latest part of an ongoing custody battle between Usher and Foster that began when Usher filed for divorce in 2009. At least they seem to be on decent terms, as TMZ reports Foster and Usher hugged following the denial of Foster’s request.
Meanwhile Foster posted the first post-pool accident photo of Usher Raymond V to her Instagram account. “My favorite 5 year old. What a blessing! I have always loved and appreciated my sons but tragedies and close calls make this even more evident,” she writes. “URV had an angel named Kile Ishmael and our Lord and true savior to look after him. Words cannot express the relief and how thankful to God I truly am. Thank you Jehovah God, Jesus and Kile … also The AV worker that saved my son is my Hero!!! Period.”
